Participants and registration
Import or paste your participant list
The fastest way to register people is to use the list you already have. QRtimer reads Excel workbooks, CSV files and rows pasted straight from a spreadsheet.

- Owner, administrator or programme manager
Open the participant import
Open the event, go to the Participants tab and choose Import or paste.
Paste from a spreadsheet
In Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers, select the rows (with the header row if you have one) and copy them. In QRtimer keep Paste from a spreadsheet selected, paste into the box and choose Add participants.
Or upload a file
Choose Upload a file and pick an Excel (.xlsx) or CSV file. The first worksheet is used. Old .xls files need saving as .xlsx first.
Check the columns
Recognised column names: name (or first name and last name), email, phone, code, affiliation and group, plus common variations such as "full name", "mobile" or "cohort". Without a header row, names, emails and phone numbers are detected from the values, so a plain list of names works.
Read the result
The message tells you how many people were added, which columns were used and why any rows were skipped (for example a duplicate email). If codes are emailed automatically, they go out in the background.
